Rabindranath Tagore's History on WHEELS

A chance to view the great RABINDRANATH TAGORE'S history, and the best part is that it's on wheels.... Something different........

It started on the 25th of Oct 2010 and is available to the public till 28th of Oct 2010... Enter is free of cost.... The coach is fully AC so for those of you who can't bear chill, bundle up... Explanation is in written format (Hindi / Sanskrit / English), no one is narrating anything...

I'm going to let the pictures do the talking now...






This is just a part of it... No point if I put all of it, then what you will see.....

You have to go to Bangalore Cantonment South Western Railway Station to check out the exhibit...

Over all the experience was good I felt expect for the part where it can be noticed very well that they have not maintained it well... Visitors have scribbled all sorts of sayings on the exhibit and also on the walls of the train...

review of a LUSH product called "AQUA MIRABILIS"





WHAT IS THIS PRODUCT:
According to LUSH "Aqua Mirabilis" is a water soluble body buffer in shape of a bar, it can be used very much like soap itself... It exfoliates the skin leaving it soft...
According to me it looks like square beiges colored bar with tiny brown colored grains in it (ground almonds)... I did notice that it contained butter consistency which felt nice later on for my skin....
But the main part that bothered me was in the starting itself... Since the bar had ground almond I just could not rub the bar on my skin I could feel the ground almond tips just scratching my skin.. So I though ok fine let's try it with lesser hand pressure but alas even that did not help me...And it did not end their, after the almond where in water contact with in few sec's they would just become too soggy.. Due to which I don't think it actually exfoliated my skin in any way...
So for those of you all who like intense exfoliation or those with thick skin's this is just the product for you..

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Wet the body and just take the bar and use it as a regular soap...
Then simply rinse off with water..

1. Surya Namaskar is the ideal exercise to cope with insomnia & related disorders. Its practice calms the mind & helps get sound sleep.
2. Try having a glass of warm milk. Dairy foods are idle due to the presence of tryptophan, a sleep promoting substance.
3. Bananas which are not only high in nutritious, also help you sleep better.
4. Carbohydrates are not all bad for you. Yes, they are know to energies body, but when had with tryptophan rich foods can help. Try cornflakes with milk or even bread and cheese.
5. It's not your fave cup of coffee but even chocolate aerated drinks like cola, tea are sleep killers. Hence it's best to avoid them after 4pm.
6. Go slow on all fatty food. Consuming food rich in spices and are heavy on stomach should be avoided at night.

8. Boil 2 teaspoons of cumin seeds in 250ml of water for 10 Min's. Filter and drink 100ml before going to bed.
9. Sprinkle lavender water on your pillow. The scent will help you relax deeply.

MYTH: BEER IS A GOOD CONDITIONER FOR HAIR
                     How many a times would you have hear this when girls start to talk about all the beauty knowledge that they know??... Now beer does contain the ingredients (protein in the malt and hop in the beer coat) that will you know help your hair shine an all, but the catch is that the alcohol content in it will probably leave you with a mop that not only feels but also look like straw.. Today as this tine an age when we have so many conditioners to choose from the market, you don't really need the reeking bar smell from your hair... Now do you??...
 

MYTH: CUCUMBER REDUCES PUFFINESS OF THE EYES
                    Not just cucumber girls but anything cold applied on eye lids will reduce puffiness.. As placing something around eye region will cause the blood vessels to contract, hence reduce swelling.. But cucumber is suggested as it stays cool longer then other organic options..

This is a light pinkish colored mask with a thick clay like consistency... The detan cream comes in a big orange tube which makes it convenient to use.. Also great from the hygiene point of view...


I have combination skin and finding a product is difficult cos of my combination skin / sensitive skin / I break out if the product does not suit me... When I tried this product my skin did not go through any problem.. It felt nice after using it...



Directions for Use:

*I have tried different ways and the best effective method is as follows...

*Cleans face the way you usually do

*Scrub your face with face scrubber

*Steam face for 15Min's or till you start to sweat in face region

*Take towel and dab face dry

up and now what ever you apply on face will get absorbed a bit more then usual)
*Apply De tan on face / neck (do not apply around eyes) (You can take it on the

*Wash face with room temperature or slightly cooler water (the contact of cold

:
It fragrance-free, the sunscreen definitely has the UVA range covered... Includes several antioxidants in stable packaging... Comes in a tube applicator, which is hygienic (but its difficult to open the cap when hands are wet as sufficient grip is not their)..

1. Most common remedy is to use an antibacterial, pleasant smelling soap, apply a deodorant and wear cotton clothes to reduce sweating.
2. Apply baking soda on the arm pits to absorb sweat and kill bacteria.
3. Apply cider vinegar, white vinegar and alcohol are other solutions you can apply on your underarms to reduce body odour.
4. What you eat is directly related to your body odour. So eat healthy and avoid processed foods and also too much red meat. Frequent consumption of garlic, curry, cumin and masala can be the cause of foul smell. Avoid alcohol and tobacco (this worsens your problem).
5. The underarms tend to accumulate more sweat, removing hair by waxing or shaving helps prevent sweat rings.
