I bought this hair straightener manufactured by a company called REMINGTON from CROMA situated in STAR BAZAAR, koramangala..
The product is called

The speciality of this gadget is that the plates are made of ceramic/tourmaline and coated with teflon..
This gives a much more shine and silky result to my hair than any other product, its because the plate has tourmaline.. Other benefits are that it took much lesser time to make my hair straight (its due to concentration of negative ions about which you will be reading further ahead), it takes about just 30secs for the straightener to heat up..
This product also has a temperaure dial (6 settings) to set the amount of heat needed as per our hair thickness.. The power cord is fitted in such a way that it does not get tangled up no matter how we twist or turn our straightener while using it on our hair.. It also has an easy to operate lock button so that while we are using it on our hair we dont have to hold it in closed position, we can just use the lock button..
Tourmaline (which is actually a stone) emits upto 6 times more negative ion and far infrared (FIR) rays.. Now dont be alarmed cos this is a good thing.. These ions are know for improving our circulation, releiving stress, increasing ones mental alertness an strengthening the function of our immune system an the FIR helps to lock in hair moisture, removes static which will prevent hair to frizz out..
